Solicitor Forms
Instructions for Completing an Application to Solicit:
- Please fill out one form per business. Information for each person who will be soliciting will be listed on the second page of the form.
- A copy of the driver’s license of each person who will be soliciting shall be included with the application paperwork.
- Each business may apply for no more than 3 consecutive days to solicit in a calendar year excluding Sundays and holidays. The three days requested for approval must be written on the application form and they will stand regardless of inclement weather. Only one application will be approved per calendar year.
- Soliciting hours are from 10:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m.
- The fee for soliciting is $50 for the first solicitor and $35 for each additional solicitor. Fees will be collected once the application has been approved and permits are ready for pick up.
- An Application to Solicit may take up to one week to be approved by the Chief of Police.
- All solicitors are expected to behave in a professional manner and obey “No Soliciting” signs on resident’s homes. Each solicitor shall wear a village-approved permit sticker at all times.
