Records
The Records Division is located inside the Shorewood Police Department at 903 West Jefferson Street, Shorewood, IL.
The Shorewood Police Department Records Section is staffed by civilian employees and a civilian supervisor. Records Section staff are responsible for the operation of our station front desks and also provide a variety of services, including:
- Organize, store, and provide documents to authorized legal entities upon request
- Walk-in Services
- Preparing FOIA information
- General questions
Additionally, the Records Division submits all required crime statistics and reports to the appropriate county, state, and federal agency as prescribed by law.

Hours of OperationRecords is open for business Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Records is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Village holidays.
ServicesRecords provides a number of services to the public, including Freedom of Information Requests, parking ticket payments, and solicitor permits.
