Patrol Division
The Shorewood Police Patrol Division provides 24/7 service to the residents of Shorewood and those who pass through this community. Patrol Officers respond to and investigate a broad range of calls for service, including criminal activity complaints and citizen assists. The Patrol Division’s proactive daily enforcement effort is guided by its Objective Based Policing philosophy. All members of the police department regularly review the needs of the village and set daily objectives based on those needs. The Patrol Division is the most visible and recognizable division of the department and its members strive to develop relationships with our residents and businesses.
We use specialized units to address both community and criminal issues. The four specialized units are:
