Domestic Violence Unit

The Shorewood Police Department has a team of officers specifically trained to mediate conflicts and decrease incidents of domestic violence.  Our officers conduct follow-up risk assessments and investigations, advocate for victims, and provide referrals to service organizations to assist individuals at risk of future domestic violence.  Additionally, a select group of officers are trained and equipped to complete Order of Protection petitions at our station which expedites the hectic administrative process and reduces the frequency of traumatic questioning.

Citizens with questions about our Domestic Violence Unit program are encouraged to contact Sergeant Danielle Malone at (815) 725-1460 or dmalone@shorewoodil.gov.
